Can anyone give me some advice the last few day i have notice
that Paco is not him self he is having promblems eating his food
only can eat at one side of his month he is also very slow with
eating his food. He is not eating like he should be. Little bit worry
about Paco I think maybe when he has been feeding Rico my blue
yellow macaw .Maybe Rico has hurt him while paco was feeding rico.
If anyone who knows about macaws that can give me some advice
I would be truly grateful.

it's sounds to me that you better visit a birdmedic,..i'll never had that problem myself..
it's hard to give you advice from this side...... and not the best thing to do!
Drs Hooimeijer (Meppel) is a vet in your neigbourhood... Otherwise Drs Feld (Amersfoort)
Better you stay away from Hooimeijer otherwise your bird has a behaviour problem (so he will say).
Feld has already disappeared, and his successors are no specialists.
Better you should go to Verstappen Driebergen/Zeist.
However sometimes the man bites the womens tongue during feeding and that hurts sometimes you see blood without wounds to be seen.
In one or two days the women starts eating normaly , and nothing is the matter.
My advise wait 2 days is the situation not better than you go to see the vet,

Thank you for your advice. It is sometimes not easy to give the right advice
over macaws. They can't tell you what the problem is.It is going better with
Paco. Also he is eating better he is just bit careful at the moment with eating
his food.

Would like to say thank you for your advice over Paco. I think you are right about Paco
he is very careful with his tougue and how he takes his food, What you said is what i
think has happen Rico has bitten his tougue while feeding and it has been painful .Paco
was quiet for 2 days. Giving him soft fruit and he eat that okay. Now he is eating again
just still taking care how he eats .Think his tougue will take few day before it is better
again that he can use it normally again.Starter to eat his normal food like his zupreem
pellets and another food that i give him also feeling better in himself. Thank you again
for your advice francapegaaien in the beginning i was very worry about Paco.
